The kanban game for developers and business-analysts

Richard Martens has been involved in information technology for more than 20 years. He started as a web developer using the Oracle database as no more than data storage. Richard has been responsible for major European multilingual websites and has been working with the Oracle database since 2000. During those years, he developed himself using a multitude of technologies and specialized in PL/SQL and Oracle APEX. Richard has been working primarily with PLSQL and APEX since 2005. With APEX, he combines the things he loves most: the Oracle database and web technologies.
It was March 2018 when Jasper Alblas and Frans Jacobs introduced me to a nice way of explaining the advantages of Kanban within a Scrum environment.
In the Agile world, Kanban and Scrum have been seen as separate frameworks/practices, but as we all know Scrum teams practice Kanban as well.
With this guide, The practice of Kanban within Scrum is formalized without adding or deducting anything from Scrum or Kanban but recognizing the strength of using both.
We probably can learn a lot and improve our Kanban practices, so that’s why I proposed doing a Kanban workshop, so we can look at this guide and see how we can improve flow, focus and collaboration using Kanban.
